Llenguatge específic i d'habilitats comunicatives. El nivell de sortida de l'assignatura és el A2 segons el Marc Europeu de Llengües. Es recomana disposar del nivell A1 per cursar aquesta assignatura.

1. Talk about your background, your life, express your intention to do something, talk about your tastes. Draw a physical and moral portrait of someone. Talk about one's character or about someone.
2. Explain a memory. Express liking or disliking. Ask someone about a memory.
3. Describe an apartment. Renting an apartment. Living together. Rent/book tourist accommodation.
4. Talk about the future. Imagine the future and describe the usefulness of an object. Express interest in media, social networks. Propose a trip, a mission...
5. Understand and give cooking instructions. Talk about regional dishes. Order in a restaurant. Express satisfaction or dissatisfaction.

Qualificació
Students are expected to follow Continuous Assessment (CA).
Continuous Assessment
-Speaking: 25% presentations, recordings, tutorials, and attendance. 100% attendance in class is expected.
-Writing and Use of French: 25%: writings or use of French inside and outside the classroom, and their correction.
-Listening: 25%: listenings inside and outside the classroom.
-Reading and Vocabulary practice: 25%: inside and outside the classroom.
To pass the subject, the student must obtain a minimum of 5/10 in each of the four areas and attend at least 80% of classes.
Each of these parts may be retaken on the scheduled dates for the resit exam.
In the event a student fails one or more skills, after averaging, the highest possible mark given will be a 4/10.
Grading Criteria for single-session evaluation
The single-session evaluation is an exceptional assessment system and must be explicitly requested, and the Faculty needs to give its approval.
For the single assessment, the student must complete the following exam tests on the specified days and times (see Exam and Retake Calendar).
Single-session Assessment Exam: 10 points
Students granted Avaluació Única by the Faculty of Tourism will be evaluated through a 4-part exam calculated as follows:
Speaking: 25%
Writing and use of French: 25%
Listening: 25%
Reading and Vocabulary practice: 25%
Students must pass each of the 4 areas with a minimum mark of 5/10
Any student who fails one or more parts of the Avaluació Única Test can retake the failed part(s) on the scheduled dates for the resit exam (Examen de Recuperació) to reattempt to pass the course.
In the event a student fails one or more skills, after averaging, the highest possible mark given will be a 4/10.
Criteris específics de la nota «No Presentat»:
A student will not be assessed (i.e. is "no presentat") due to not having completed less than 50% of the continuous assessment activities (weighted accordingly, if applicable), or if they have not taken the single assessment.
Avaluació única:
tudents who, for justified reasons, cannot attend classes must request to be assessed by single-session evaluation (Avaluació Única) at the Tourism Faculty's Academic Office within the deadlines established at the beginning of the semester. The Faculty must give its approval.

To pass the suject, students must attain a minimum mark of 5/10 in each of the four areas, and also a five overall.

In the event that a modification is needed due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., pandemic):
During the scheduled class hours, with the help of a video conferencing tool and supported by other applications, classes will be conducted with student interaction.
Students must have the textbook. Additional documentation and resources will be uploaded to Moodle.
A brief summary of the topics covered will be provided through the means decided by the teaching staff.

The assessment activities planned in the course design will be maintained as much as possible, with the understanding that some evaluations may take place synchronously, but not in-person, if necessary.
