Bachelor's degree in Chemistry (July 1997) and Ph.D. in Chemistry (December 2001) from the University of Girona.I have been Lecturer and currently Associate Professor (09/2006) in the Department of Chemistry and a member of the Institute of Computational Chemistry and Catalysis at the University of Girona.I am a researcher in the field of Theoretical and Computational Chemistry. During my predoctoral stage, I worked on intermolecular interactions and methods for correcting basis set superposition error. Part of the methodology I designed was incorporated into the Gaussian 98revA11 program and subsequent revisions (Gaussian03 and Gaussian09), of which I am a co-author.During my postdoctoral stage, I conducted research stays at foreign institutions (+24 months).My current research focuses on designing and implementing tools for wave function analysis.Co-author of 87 publications in international journals and co-principal investigator of two projects funded by the Plan National (PGC2018 and PGC2022).I have co-supervised 4 doctoral theses (5 more in progress), 11 master's theses, and over 20 undergraduate research projects in Chemistry and Biotechnology.
