Abigail Parris Montes (Leicester, United Kingdom), discovers throughoutof her studies in Cultural Communication and Environmental Change, a discipline that intertwines her interests: humanistic geography. The study of thelandscape and environmental humanities trigger a concern to better understand the relationship between people and the environment (landscape) through literature and artin its multiple forms of expression.With the support of AGAUR (through a FI_SDUR grant) and theResearch Group on Literature of the Modern Age, Contemporary and HeritageLiterary, interdisciplinary in nature. The doctoral student is working on the elaborationof a thesis where the literary construction of the landscape and thereconnaissance of the territory in Camp de Tarragona and Les Terres de l'Ebre fromfrom the nineteenth century to the present. This research work, led byMargarida Casacuberta and Joan Nogué, is part of the project Literature and correntsTerritorial III.
