Teacher at ERAM, filmmaker, and researcher in the Philosophy Department at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).
He holds a degree in Philology from the UB and in Humanities from the UAB, graduating with honors (Special Degree Award). Holds a PhD in Philosophy from the UAB Department of Philosophy—supported by an FI grant from the Generalitat—with the doctoral thesis "The Illusion of Freedom in Mainstream Cinema." In the audiovisual field, he trained primarily at the now-defunct CECC.
As a TEACHER, he teaches film and screenwriting at ERAM and has mentored the production of short films at ERAM and also at Staffordshire University. He has given courses and talks—covering film, education, and philosophy—at the Girona Cinema Museum, the CST, and Justícia i Pau. As a screenwriter and DIRECTOR, he has collaborated with various media outlets and production companies, writing, directing, and working as a consultant. As a RESEARCHER, he participates in research projects within the Philosophy Department at the UAB, particularly the consolidated research group GEHUCT. Other notable groups include: "Justice and Democracy: Towards a New Model of Solidarity," "The Construction of Citizenship in Contemporary Ethics," and "Fraternity, Justice, and Democracy." From a different perspective, he has worked and collaborated on several social projects, primarily in Latin America.
Articles and book chapters include: "Critique of Modernist Anthropology in Contemporary Serial Fiction: Otherness, Affect, and Empathy in Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, and Pluribus" (Tirant, with Dani Pérez). The framework for their research is CULTURAL STUDIES. His focus—in education, audiovisual creation, and research—is the analysis of the socialization model in contemporary culture, specifically the discursive environment that surrounds us and how the individual leverages it through everyday life and simple daily habits.
