I am a doctor specializing in clinical pharmacology, associate professor at the University of Girona and principal investigator of the TransLab research group (https://www.udg.edu/ca/grupsrecerca/translab). My main line of research is the study of the benefit-risk relationship of drugs through objective, transparent and replicable methods. Specifically, I have studied the benefit-risk relationship of drugs in the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Drug Addiction, and Alzheimer’s Disease. The methodology used has been the systematic review of clinical trials with meta-analysis. In addition, I have studied the factors that explain the between-study variability of results using meta-regression techniques. I am currently investigating and developing eHealth tools that use artificial intelligence techniques to formulate decentralized, automated, up-to-date, participatory, and personalized therapeutic recommendations (https://tdapp.org/).
