Cognitive Neuroscience GironaMartijn began his scientific career in Amsterdam by joining the lab of Dr. Victor Lamme. In 2014, his research led him into the study of internally oriented processes, including metacognition, prediction, and creative thinking. He explored these topics in Brussels with Dr. Axel Cleeremans and in the labs of Dr. Tony Ro in New York and Dr. Tristan Bekinschtein in Cambridge (ABC Talent Grant, Marie Sklodowska-Curie Global Fellowship 2018-2021).In his current position as a Ramón y Cajal Fellow at the University of Girona, as well as in his previous roles at the University of Granada and New York University, he investigates how internally generated (conscious and unconscious) information emerges in the brain. To this end, he employs psychophysics, neuroimaging methods (fMRI, EEG), and non-invasive brain stimulation (TMS).see: https://sites.google.com/view/martijnwokke/home
