Chemical engineer (2000) and professional specialist in engineering of maintenance (2001) at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, he later completed his doctoral studies on combustion vehicle maintenance at the same university, obtaining his doctorate in 2005.He has been a professor at the University of Girona since 2006, working in the field of process simulation using computational fluid dynamics (CFD), mainly focused on improving thermoelectric devices to obtain electricity from waste heat sources.He has three teaching six-year periods, two research six-year periods, and is the co-author of 2 patents and 32 indexed scientific articles, with a total of 647 citations and an h-index of 14.
