ANNA RIBAS PALOM is Associated Professor in the Department of Geography and the Institute of the Environment at the University of Girona (Spain). His research interests include the analysis of socioterritorial dimension of water and water management in the Mediterranean areas. She has participated in competitive national and international research projects related to water management, climate change, tourism and land use planning. She is currently a principal researcher on the project “Adaptation to the risks associated with climate change in tourist areas of the Mediterranean coast: perception, incentives and barriers (RISKadapT)” (PID2019-104480GB-I00) and member of the research team of the projects "POND Ecosystems for Resilient FUture Landscapes in a changing climate (PONDERFUL).
