PhD in Public International Law and European Union Law from the University of Girona (2024), with a doctoral thesis titled "The Protection of Victims of Human Trafficking in International Legal Systems and its Application in the European Union: Towards a Victim Statute," awarded the distinction Cum Laude and the International Doctorate mention, supervised by Dr. Maria Esther Jordana Santiago. She holds a Law degree from the University of Girona (2019), specializing in Public International Law and European Union Law. She also completed a Master’s in International Relations, Security, and Development at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2020), focusing on the European Union’s foreign action.She has worked at the Department of Foreign Action and the European Union of the Generalitat de Catalunya. In the summer of 2021, she received a scholarship from the Academic Network for Legal Studies on Immigration and Asylum in Europe to participate in their Summer School at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). In 2022, she undertook a research stay, collaborating as a researcher at the prestigious International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) in Vienna.Her main research areas focus on human rights protection, particularly the protection of victims of human trafficking, the fight against torture and inhuman or degrading treatment, and gender equality. She has presented her research at both national and international conferences and has academic publications in both areas.
