PhD (C) in Linguistics applied to language teaching at Nebrija University (currently), Master's Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from Nebrija University (2024), Master's Degree in Teaching Spanish and Catalan as Second Languages from the University of Girona (2016) and Bachelor's Degree in Hispanic Philology from the University of Girona (2004). She is an associate professor of Spanish Language in the Department of Philology and Communication at the University of Girona, where since 2019 she has taught the subjects ‘Oral and Written Communication’, ‘Normative Grammar and Spelling of Spanish’ and ‘Academic Communication’ in the Hispanic Philology Degree programme. She currently teaches the courses ‘Methodology and Didactics in Second Language Teaching’, ‘Dissemination of Linguistic Research’ and ‘Planning and Assessment in Second Languages’ in the Master's Degree in Teaching Spanish and Catalan as Second Languages at the UdG. Since 2021, she has been tutoring Master's Theses related to the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language (ELE) at the UdG and, on an occasional basis, at Nebrija University. For eight years, she has collaborated with the University of Girona Foundation (FUdG) as an examiner for the Diploma in Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE) of the Cervantes Institute for all levels (2018-2025), and as chief examiner for the last five years. She has also been a DELE preparer and ELE teacher (2018-2025), and at the FUdG (2022-2023). Her research interests are linguistics applied to language teaching, the didactics of written expression, the application of active methodologies and AI to the teaching and learning of Spanish as a foreign language, and its emotional impact.
