Alba Ceballos-Escalera Lopez completed her Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology at the University of Girona (2012-2016) and her Master's degree in Biological and Environmental Engineering at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2017-2019). She has obtained her PhD in Water Science and Technology from the University of Girona (2024). Her research focuses on the development of bioelectrochemical and electrochemical systems, with a specific emphasis on their innovative application to improve water treatment processes.
