I’m an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science, Applied Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Girona, where I’m a member of the research project entitled Mathematical Modeling in Biology and Complex Networks. Degree in Mathematics and Doctor in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Barcelona (2005). My research interests broadly focus on structured population dynamics, biological evolution, and epidemic spreading over complex networks. I’ve made several postdoctoral research stays, I’m co-author of many papers in international journals and I’ve attended to many conferences around the world. I’m involved in teaching activities including, mainly, algebra & geometry, and calculus with differential equations, always focusing on the applications.
