Telling a story in class using appropriate strategies to maximise learner understanding (40%). Written paper contextualising the storytelling session within an appropriate educational context; presenting a detailed lesson plan of the storytelling session; providing details of pre-story and post-story activities; and a personal reflection on own performance, including a reflection on the peer feedback received (60%)
A minimum of 80% of lessons must be attended in order to pass the subject. The practical and interactive work carried out in class is considered to be a vital part of the learning process. Non-attendance can only be approved in exceptional circumstances. However, in such cases, and to reflect the lack of class work carried out, the maximum mark that can be obtained from all work submitted is 6.
