2021 Explorer Programme (2nd edition)

Do you have an innovative idea and you want to develop it?

Programme for fostering entrepreneurship among young people, funded by Santander Bank and co-funded by each of the centres, in our case, the University of Girona.

Candidate requirements

  1. Being between the ages of 18 and 31 when the call is published.
  2. Having an entrepreneurship project idea.
  3. Not having a specific legal person constituted to develop the idea.
  4. You do not have to be a student or a university degree holder, the programme is open to the general public.


Candidacies can be projects carried out by a single person or by teams.

The Explorer Programme lasts 12 months, during which time you will have access to:

  • Specialist training, totally free and 100% online, split into the following blocks:
    • Week 1 (Get ready): you will learn about time and team management.
    • Weeks 2 and 3 (Research): you will learn to identify potential customers and construct a value proposition.
    • Week 4-9 (Fix & Build): you will learn prototyping techniques, to construct minimally feasible products, and new trends in marketing and communication.
    • Weeks 10-11 (Monetize): we will tell you about bootstrapping and how to attract external investment and capital.
    • Week 12 (Storytelling): we will teach you how to communicate your project properly.
  • Mentoring. All projects are assigned a mentor to carry out a personalised monitoring of the development of your business idea.
  • Access to an extensive network of entrepreneurs.
  • One journey to an innovative ecosystem and a cash prize.


Submission of applications: from18 May to 12 August 2021

The selection of projects able to take part in the programme will be published on 7 September 2020.

The training initiatives and mentoring will last 12 weeks.

Starts: 20 September 2021.
