The language policy’s goals set out by the University of Girona are in line with its strategic goals, especially in relation to its educational model, research and knowledge transfer, internationalisation and university management.

The Language Plan is the University of Girona’s framework for setting out its goals in language policy and is aimed at developing the learning of the individuals making up the UdG's university community and their acquisition of a high level of competence in their own and other languages.
