This year the course will be developed in Finland in the framework of the project Erasmus + "On the way towards a low-carbon society – Increasing professionalism in land use and landscape management within climate change (Towards LCS)" Towards LCS is the acronym of this international project which aims to develop studies that promote a low carbon society. Working together, academics, experts and students from the three partner countries Finland, Poland and Catalonia. Three academic institutions (University of Eastern Finland, Adam Mickiewicz University and University of Girona) and six external organisations linked to land use that work in close collaboration to combine the world of work and research. Geographical thought is a subject that does not aspire, purely to offer a detailed history of geography from its origins (in time of the classical Greece) to the present day. We will analyse the sounds and suprasegmental phenomena of Catalan from an articulatory, acoustic and perceptive (phonetic) viewpoint and we will also consider its linguistic behaviour (phonology). We will look at the main systems and phonological processes that affect both the vowels and consonants. The basic techniques of experimental phonetic analysis will be introduced. We will present different formal models of phonological representation to describe and explain the phenomena described. The normative solutions will be referred to for the oral standard.

A description of the basic morphological processes (derivation, composition, and nominal and verbal inflection) will be given. The behaviour of clitics will be analysed. In this regard, even though a great deal of importance is given to the units and basic processes of morphology, the course centres on a detailed look at what these units are and how they are organised and how they function in the Catalan language. Therefore, the main objective of this subject is to study the internal structure of Catalan words and particularly the morphological processes that account for this structure.

The great variety of fictional narrative that surrounds an isolated phenomenon like Pigall will be studied, to then go further into the analysis of the work and its sources. Quixote will be studied in the light of his Renaissance narrative precedents. Thirdly, the structure of comedies and the meaning of the new Art of making comedies of Lope de Vega, with a look into some of his more brilliant palatine comedies, will be studied.
