Participació en l’Orquestra de la UdGParticipación en la Orquesta de la UdGParticipation in the UdG Orchestra

Description:
Possibility of taking part in an artistic and creative activity in the field of music and in events not just within the University itself (official opening of the academic year, formal occasions, Christmas concert, spring concert, etc.,) and the region of Girona (festivals, concerts in the Auditorium-Conference Hall, etc.,) but also within and without Spain (exchanges with other orchestras, university or otherwise). Weekly rehearsals, where the chosen repertoire and instrumental techniques will be worked on. Students will be able to have 1 academic credit per year recognised, up to a maximum of 4 credits.

Enrolment:
New members will be admitted based on a brief personal interview and, if necessary, of an instrument test, to find a suitable place for the musician within the orchestra as a whole. Whether or not the musician is admitted will depend on the size of the orchestra and number of musicians of each family.
Organisation:
Rehearsals will be held once a week throughout the academic year.
