Documented accreditation of language level

Bachelor's degree

Students who have a recognised certificate of knowledge of a language level can request accreditation by the University so that it appears as an external accreditation on their curriculum vitae and, where necessary, serves to satisfy the third language requirement established in the curriculum.

Application 

Who

UdG bachelor's degree students who have a recognised certificate of the attainment of a language level can request the documented accreditation of it.

To be able to process the application online, the original electronic document or an authentic electronic copy must be presented. Otherwise, the student must go in person to the office of the secretary of the teaching institution.

Where

The application must be submitted online, through the UdG Online Secretary's Office.

When

The application can be submitted at any time during the academic year.

How?

To formalise the application, you must access the Procedures section of the Secretary in Netowrk (see instructions on the Coneix La Meva UdG webpage) and start the “Documented accreditation” procedure.

From the fold-down menu of the accreditation type, you must choose “Language level”; then the corresponding certificate must be attached, and the language, level and issuing entity of the certificate specified in the “Observations” section.

The certificates issued by the UdG’s Modern Language Service which are accredited by it are excluded from this formality.

Decision

Who

The body competent to deal with requests is, in the case of the teaching given at educational centres integrated with the University of Girona, the dean or director of these centres and, in the case of education given at centres affiliated or linked to the University of Girona, the delegated dean or director.

How?

Once the procedure has been completed, the student will receive an electronic notification with a link to the resolution of the application.
The resolution does not represent the end of the administrative process. An appeal may be lodged with the Rector of the University against the resolution within a period of one month following the day of the notification, in accordance with the provisions of articles 121 and in accordance with Law 39/2015, of 1 October, on common administrative procedure for public administrations.

In the event of a positive resolution, the document is incorporated as an external accreditation on the student’s curriculum and, where necessary, serves to satisfy the knowledge of a third language requirement established in the curriculum.
