Qualificació
The module will be assessed by a combination of:
a) Evaluation form to be completed by the internship supervisor to assess intern's performance (50%). The ability of the intern to integrate and apply knowledge and skills to real-world situation of a specific business organization, the ability and self-initiative to successfully complete internship assignments and the integrity and professionalism in the fulfillment of all internship requirements will be assessed.
b) Evaluation form to be completed by the academic tutor to assess intern's report (50%). The quality of the presentation and the language use in the written report, the organization and coherence in the report structure, the clarity and correction in the description of the industry and the tasks developed, the clarity and correction in the description of the methdologies used and the correct use of bibliographic sources will be assessed.
Criteris específics de la nota «No Presentat»:
It will be considered "NO PRESENTAT" if the student does not attend the working in the company/university/research institution and/or do not deliver the final report
Avaluació única:
The single evaluation is not contemplated in the internship in companies.
Requisits mínims per aprovar:
In order to pass the subject it is necessary to complete the internship hours and a minimum grade of 5.0 out of 10 in the assessment.
Tutoria
Tutorials (Face-to-face preferentially but also via online platforms) can be scheduled at times agreed with the tutors/teachers/supervisors via e-mail.
Comunicacio i interacció amb l'estudiantat
Communication and interaction with students will be done through Moodle platform, using the notice forum. e-mail should remain a one-off event.
Observacions
Internship in a company is an optional module of the Master (12 ECTS). In-class teaching starts in September and ends by March of the next year. At this point the students can perform a full-time internship in a company for up to 300 hours and can also associate their Master Thesis to the work carried out in the company to extend the intermship for up to 750 hours (4-5 months). It will be co-tutorized by the supervisor of the company and a member of the master's teaching staff.
Internship offers from our partners will be posted on the master's website as soon as they are confirmed by the companies. The students must apply to the internship they prefer. The companies perform the selection among the applications in the following two weeks. The last step is to formalize a cooperation agreement between the University, the Company and the Student, stating the conditions of the internship such as extension, remuneration (if applied) etc.

In blended learning scenario the activities will remain essentially the same but combining on-line and work in the industry (in case the industry accepts the on-line format for part of the work).

Assessment activities missed by a vulnerable or temporarily sheltered student will either be replaced by virtual ones or will be postponed if the industry accepts. Otherwise the student will have to take an alternative PE where on-line work is permitted.
