Research:
Targeted antitumor therapies (TAT):
Development of molecules with antitumor activity that target specific cancer cells receptors.
2.1 Epidermal growth factor (EGF) analogs as anti-tumor agents
Design and production of derivatives of growth factors of the EGF family, including truncated EGF and other modified ligands, which have potential antitumor activity.
2.2 Targeting of anti-tumor compounds
Characterization of complexes based on transition metals as potential antitumor agents. Study of their activity in photochemotherapy. Design and production of carrier peptides to direct chemotherapeutic agents to receptors overexpressed in tumors (EGF derivatives, bombesin derivatives, octeotride, RGD peptide,...).
