Joan Solé-Pla "Doctor Europeos" by the University of Girona in 2012 in the Official Doctorate Programme in Tourism, Law and Business. Master's Degree in Applied Economics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 1994 and Degree in Economics and Business Studies in 1989 from the same university. He is currently a lecturer in the Department of Economics at the University of Girona. Teaching: he teaches Management of Cultural Heritage, Fundamentals of Economics and Spanish and World Economics at the Faculties of Tourism, Education and Psychology, Law and Economics and Business Studies. He also directs Final Degree Projects and Company Internships in the faculties of Tourism and Economics and Business Studies. Member of the Networks for Teaching Innovation in Cooperative Learning (XIDAC) and Virtual Exchange and COIL of the University of Girona. Member of the research groups: IGESI Interdisciplinary Research Group on Gender and Social Inequalities. Organizational Networks, Innovation and Tourism (ONIT). The main line of research is the analysis of social networks.
