FunctionsIn addition to the powers conferred on them under Article 101 of the Articles of Association of the University of Girona and all the other regulations, they will lead the following areas: Statutory and normative development Legal affairs Official UdG gazette Promoting governance Participation E-office and administrative procedures Archive and records Institutional and social relations Relationship with the University of Girona’s ombudsperson To carry out the former, and independently from the provisions of Article 101 of the UdG’s Articles of Association, the general secretary’s office will enjoy support and assistance from the UdG’s various services and units. BiographyI am part of the UdG as a teacher since 1994. Am doctor in Sociology and I am ascribed as a full professor in this area of knowledge, in the Department of Business Studies. I have restricted my research in the area of the social inequality related with the gender, the age, the social class and the lifestyle, as well as in the civic participation. One of my interests is the Japanese floral art ikebana.
