The final exam includes questions (test or written) regarding class lessons (70% of the grade). A minimum grade of 4.5 in this part is required.
Lab sessions (20% of the grade) are of mandatory assistance. Evaluation of this part may include a report, specific questions within the final exam and/or an online questionnaire.
Scientific paper reading (10% of the grade) will be evaluated by specific questions (in class or during the final exam)
It is mandatory to participate in class (a question, a comment), in English, at least one time.
In case of failing the subject, only the final exam may be retaken (not including lab sessions or article related questions).
ATTENTION: Lab sessions are designed to be taken together with the lab sessions of the Applied Genetics course. It is not required to take the two subjects, but students taking only Animal Biotechnology must be aware that they will have to attend the scheduled labs of both subjects. Moreover, the evaluation will include all the protocols performed during these joined lab sessions.
