Albert Magrí is Agricultural Engineer PhD specialized in Environmental Technology & Engineering (UdL, 2007). He has developed R&D and Technology Transfer activity in Spain, United States and France. During his career he has gained expertise in different environmental biotechnologies such as composting, anaerobic digestion, activated sludge, aerobic granular sludge, biofiltration, microbial electrochemical technologies, nitrification, denitrification, anammox, and phosphate precipitation. He has usually worked under a multidisciplinary environment involving process operation, optimization, mathematical modelling and the study of the microbial community. He has also been involved in several assessment studies dealing with manure management and treatment. Focus of his research is nutrient management from organic waste and waste-water.
