Given the different cases or situations in which the University of Girona enters into agreements, and in order to provide coherence to the entire process as well as to the specific steps that must be taken before those agreements are signed, the following must be taken into account:

1. Promoters of the agreements (professors, research groups, governing bodies, directors of services, etc) begin work on the documents by gathering the corresponding data. If necessary, they should be sent to the Modern Language Service for linguistic revision.
2. Together with the copies of the agreement (*), the control form of the process (which will later provide a registry number) must be filled in and the approval corresponding to the promoter of the agreement signed.
3. The control sheet and copies of the agreement are sent to Legal Services for review and approval.
4. The agreements should also receive the approval of the University manager, or a representative, if there are any economic implications.
5. Before being signed, economic agreements must be accompanied by the appropriate control form provided by the Finance, Assets and Procurement Service.
6. Before the agreement can be signed and becomes effective, copies of it together with the control form will be sent to the Rectorate with the authorization of the person responsible (rector / vice-rector / manager/ faculty or school dean or director / department or institute director).

Without these authorizations in writing, the agreement cannot be negotiated.

Upon completion of these phases, the agreement, with all the required authorizations, will be sent to the Rectorate to be signed by the rector and subsequently registered, filed and archived before being circulated.
