SHORT STAYS ABROAD

- July, 1999 (several short stays) - Instituto de Recursos Naturales y Agrobiología, C.S.I.C. Seville (Spain). Scope: Study the behaviour of coals and oil shales by means of pyrolysis tecnique and to characterize leonardite humic acids using Thermochemolysis with Tetramethylammonium Hydroxide. Subsequently, I have visited this institute several times.

- December, 1999 (20 days).- Brookhaven National Laboratory, New York (USA). Scope: qualitatively and quantitatively study of different forms of sulfur in fossil fuels by means of the XANES (X-Ray Absorption Near Edge Structure) technique.
