Doctoral studies at the University of Girona

Doctoral studies aim to provide students with advanced training in research techniques and include the presentation and defence of a doctoral thesis, consisting of original research work.

To be admitted, students must have completed at least 60 or 120 ECTS credits, depending on their undergraduate degree programme, at the official university master’s level or its equivalent.
