Educational Objectives

Girona University offers Masters in Management Cultural heritage at the local, coordinated by Mª Assumpta Roig i Torrentó, which continues the work done by Edward Carbonell pioneered the training of professionals in heritage management.

 

The master has a specificity in management from the local government to serve municipalities and territory. The teaching program meets this need. We find courses in law, economics, documentation, conservation, architecture, management models and art among others, which provides much knowledge transverse allows the student to choose between professional mode and research.

 

Since there is interest Coordination model to prioritize teaching taught so carefully designed for the purpose and who want to be reached.

 

The collaboration with the Catalan Institute for Cultural Heritage Research makes the connection with recent methodological debates in the field of research equity and ensures collaboration of internationally renowned experts.

 

It is in this spirit that all students are a large number of practices renowned heritage institutions. Both local museums or as close Foundations are spread throughout Spain. Practices that are of great importance for students to have much to do with its inclusion professional future.
