Dear students,

With these words I’d like to extend you a warm welcome to the website of the Faculty of Law of the University of Girona.

This website, however, is not simply a notice board of information in hypertext. It is, together, a communication platform with society. We want that our website should serve as a window to a wide range of activities and services: here you will find the activities of the Faculty of Law, their degrees and lecturers, the access to the Library and to the European Documentation Centre, as well as other information and useful links.

On the other hand, the Faculty is engaged in the process of adapting their degrees to the European Higher Education Area. Today, the Faculty offers degrees not only in Law, but also in Political and Administrative Sciences, and Criminology. The Faculty offers also two masters degrees: Masters in Private and Business Law and Masters in Public Law: Globalization and Legal Cultures.

This varied offer of courses and services assures a high degree of satisfaction among members of our community and more and better career opportunities for our graduates and for the students of our masters degrees and doctoral programme.
