Specific admission requirements:60 ECTS credits of an official masters degree are required, as long as a minimum of 300 ECTS credits, between all undergraduate and graduate studies, have been completed in a university or centre of higher education.Foreign students without officially recognised degrees can also be admitted to a POP doctorate if they have had their documentation duly validated and have obtained authorisation for admission from the rector of the university.Admission and registration procedure:Students who meet these requirements can request admission to a POP doctoral programme by submitting the pertinent documentation to the Graduate School (http://gigs.udg.edu ).Having reviewed the documentation, the POP Doctoral Committee will announce the admissions decisions and successful candidates will be assigned a line of research and a thesis supervisor.The Graduate School will inform candidates if they have been accepted and whether or not they can register for academic supervision, for which they will have to pay an annual fee until they present their doctoral theses.Pre-registration and registration:Pre-registration: will begin on 1 September and will run until 30 November 2010Registration, from 2 November to 21 December 2010
