Invitation to bid for the INTOSAI Development Initiative’s (IDI) tender to design and develop 200 hours of digital education contents for Professional Education for SAI Auditors (PESA) pilot.
Four digital education courses in English with a total duration of 200 hours, ready to run in the virtual environment provided by IDI (IDI LMS is based in Moodle version 3.3.2) by March 2020.
The Digital Education Initiative should follow IDIs approach to learning and use tools to facilitate interaction and social learning. The level of interaction is expected to be a midlevel, between the simple provision of information and full gaming experiences.

TENDER:
The PESA pilot Digital Education is to train professional auditors working in SAIs.
• Programme structure: a core stream and 3 optional streams (for the 3 types of audit: compliance, financial, and performance). A pilot will run with approximately 600 participants, about 200 in each audit stream.
• Programme beneficiaries: We mainly support SAIs in developing countries. The content developed should be appropriate to the needs of learners in developing country context.
• Course Structure: The education initiative consists of two phases. In the first phase will cover the core stream content and the second phase will offer optional streams education. Both phases will have fixed start and end dates.
• Assessment: The digital education for four streams, will also include mid-course assessments at the end of each paper.
• Reach: global, and will be piloted in English, with an option to translate into Spanish, French and Arabic later.
• Availability: The course will not be open access – it will be available to those applicants who fulfil certain criteria.
