Compra Pública d'Innovació: Identifying regulatory obligations on businesses, taking stock and build

The Better Regulation Executive (BRE) and the department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) are seeking technological solutions to help analyse the cumulative effect of different regulations on business. (UK)

Theyare looking for technological solutions for3 questions:
• How can they analyse the stock of existing regulation and identify which requirements apply to different businesses and sectors?
• How can they assess how challenging individual regulatory requirements are for different businesses and sectors to comply with?
• How can we assess how challenging the cumulative stock of regulation is for different businesses and sectors to comply with?

Events:

  • 20 February 2019: Registration closes at 12pm
  • 27 February 2019: Competition closes at 12pm
  • 19 April 2019: Applicants notified of decision
  • 17 May 2019: Phase 1 contracts awarded and feedback

Tender:

  • Phase 1: Technical feasibility
    • Projects can range in size up to a maximum cost of £50,000 and should last up to 3 months. Total fundingavailableof£250,000 for5 projects.
  • Phase 2: Prototype development and evaluation
    • Projects can range in size up to a maximum cost of £500,000. Total funding available of £1,000,000 for 2 projects and shouldlast up to 12 months.

Apply to registrate until 20th February 2019 at 12pm and the proposal must be sent before 27th February 2019 at 12pm.
