University professor specializing in tourism. I have taught different subjects of the Degree in Tourism within the cultural and geographical field, among others.
My doctoral thesis "Impact of tourism in Peru: historical analysis of the economic, social, environmental and cultural impacts", as well as my research and publications, are in this field, especially on issues of tourism management and planning, sustainability, tourism image and psychology. The book published by the publishing house Universitas (Madrid): "La gestion turística del Perú cultural y natural" (2015) stands out, and articles such as the one published in the Journal of Tourism and Heritage Research (2018): "Cultural icons: a determining factor in the choice of tourist destination" at http://jthr.es/index.php/journal/article/view/27 or collaborations in books such as the Sociocultural Dimension Manual (published shortly in online format by the ´editoral of the University) with the chapter "Psychology of Tourism and Leisure".
On the other hand, I am a member of the research team "Second Languages, Tourism and Employability" of the Euroaula University School, which studies the interaction and importance of foreign languages ??in the workplace, as well as the necessary skills (Soft and Hard Skills) for professionalism in tourism.
