Visiting professor at the Ocean Systems Lab of the Heriot-Watt University (UK). Principal researcher in many national an European research and technology transfer in computer vision, medical imaging and underwater robotics. Founding member of the spin-off companies AQSense and BonesNotes. He has been coordinator of degree program, master program, secretary of department, vice-rector and director of the Polytechnic School. Currently, he is the Rector of the Universitat de Girona.
