Josep-Abel González graduated and received his doctorate in physics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He currently teaches Physics mainly in the Degree in Architecture and Computer Engineering at the Escola Politècnica Superior. He also teaches Master courses on energy, ozone in the atmosphere and ultraviolet radiation. His research is part of the latest projects funded by the Environmental Physics Group, in particular he participates in the study of radiation, atmospheric aerosol and cloud cover. Harnessing solar energy is another of their interests. He has experience in the measurement and modeling of radiation in the atmosphere, both in the solar and infrared bands, participating in the maintenance of the measuring station of the Environmental Physics Group. He also has experience in measuring ultraviolet radiation and predicting its effects (such as erythematic, and effects on plants).
