This good practices manual for forestry management after fire aims to guide forest managers and workers to mitigate or avoid the negative impacts of the recovery log and enhance the resilience that naturally present the forest ecosystems of the Mediterranean basin in the face of fires. The main source of information to compile the manual has been 172 bibliographic references, mostly of scientific articles. The recommendations contained therein are intended to be applied to forestry work carried out in burnt forests where the carpenter is used and where immediate and short-term updates are covered (one to three years after the fire) that it is the period during which the exploitation is carried out.
