Academic calendar

  • Enrolment for annual and 1st semester courses: 9 to 30 September
  • Enrolment of free choice groups: all October
  • Classes begin: 13 October
  • Break between semesters for annual courses: week of 25 to 31 January
  • Enrolment for 2nd semester courses: 13 January to 3 February
  • Enrolment of free choice groups: end of February
  • 2nd semester courses begin: week of 15 February
  • Final exams for annual courses (English, French, and German): between 10 and 28 May
  • Publication of results: 3 June
  • Exams review: 7 and 8 June
  • Certificates: from 16 June

2021

  • 1 to 6 January (WED): Christmas holidays
  • From 29 March (MON) to 5 April (MON): Easter Week
  • 23 April (FRI): UdG Festa Major (non-teaching day)
  • 24 May (MON): Pentecost
  • 24 June (FRI): Sant Joan / Midsummer (Catalan regional holiday)
  • 1 July to 31 July: usual period without educational activities
  • 1 August to 31 August: non-teaching period

The 2021 festivities are presented for guidance purposes only and subject to possible changes according to agreements officially approved by the competent authorities.

Note that Monday 24 May 2021 (Pentecost) will probably be declared a holiday in Girona to replace 25 July (Sant Jaume), which falls on the Sunday.
