Learning objectives

The Master in Tourism Management and Planning (MDPT) is aimed at providing students with advanced knowledge in tourism and thereby enabling them to take on expert and management positions in companies and public authorities and work as a qualified member of staff in the world of professional consultancy, entrepreneurial innovation and academic studies in the field of tourism.

The huge complexity of the tourism phenomenon requires professionals with extensive and comprehensive knowledge of the numerous disciplines relating to the issue. An advanced knowledge of strategic management, innovation, marketing, land planning, economy and finances and legislation is essential in taking decisions in an effective and competent way in any task related with tourism.

The Master's degree offers two itineraries: Management of tourist destinations (taught in Spanish) and Development of tourist products (taught in English)
