Master in Teaching Spanish and Catalan as Second Languages

Learning objectives

This master's degree provides research and professional training in the field of second languages and linguistic, cultural, educational and social diversity.

On the one hand, integral training to future teachers of Spanish and/or Catalan as second languages, both from a didactic and grammatical point of view, completing the existing training available to respond to social demand, in the context of the new needs brought about by intercultural situations. On the other hand, the necessary basis for conducting research activities in general and compared linguistics, linguistic contact and language teaching and acquisition, is guaranteed with particular attention to situations of multilingualism linked to migration.

Master's degree students can do a placement period in a foreign university and apply for an "Erasmus + for Traineeships” grant.
