The ILCC’s headquarters are on the fifth floor of the Sant Domènec II office building, belonging to the Faculty of Arts They include a large work room with research equipment and offices for the secretaries.

There are around 30 predoctoral and postdoctoral researchers, with contacts at international level, and periodically they welcome researchers from abroad.

The ILCC keeps a bibliographic and document collection accessible from the UdG Library Catalogue. Markedly sectoral and specialising in the areas ILCC research, it consists of about 10,000 volumes. At the same time it has specialised documentation on troubadour literature and an archive of microfilms, microforms and digital reproductions originating from the research interests of its researchers. Likewise, the ILCC has collaborated in the creation of several special fonds at the UdG Library.

Worthy of special mention is the whole set of research works and sources, in microform or digital format, related to the works of Francesc Eiximenis. These provide the basis for studying and publishing the Works of Francesc Eiximenis (OFE), and related studies, which constitute the Studies on Francesc Eiximenis (EFE) collection. The first phase of the project, centred on the Catalan edition of the works of Eiximenis, started in 1985. So far three volumes of the Dotzè del Crestià have been published and two volumes of Eiximenis studies. The project has recently been expanded with a relational database, accessible online, with full, updated descriptions of the manuscripts and old editions of the works of Eiximenis (http://eiximenis.narpan.net).

Likewise, the ILCC is in charge of the digital library Studia Humanitatis, accessible online, where the biographies, bibliographies and most important texts of Catalan humanists can be consulted, and the biennial bibliographic repertory on Catalan language and literature in the Middle Ages and the modern era Qüern. ILCC researchers are developing a database on medieval Catalan song books: http://candb.narpan.net as well.

The ILCC is also the centre for coordinating the web spaces Narpan: virtual medieval literature and culture space, Nise: Catalan literature in the modern era and the website patrimoniliterari.cat, dedicated to the contemporary Catalan Jocs Florals competition and to the dissemination of self-guided literary itineraries.

In addition, the ILCC develops specific projects for each research group and line of research, funded in diverse calls and which can be consulted in the section on research projects.
