Research Group on Ecology of Inland Waters (GRECO)

The Research Group in Continental Aquatic Ecology (GRECO) corresponds to group GRCT0017 at the University of Girona (UdG) and is made up of all the teaching and research staff from the area of ecology (Department of Environmental Sciences ) at the UdG, whose research is affiliated to the Institute of Aquatic Ecology (IEA, UdG) . Most of the group also belong to EcoAqua (Recognised and Funded Research Group by the Government of Catalonia 2017-2019: 2017 SGR 548). GRECO is a big interdisciplinary group with substantial experience in limnological research, especially in three general areas (Fluvial ecology and ecotoxicology, Ecology and conservation of continental fish, and Limnology of lagoons and Mediterranean wetlands).
