Protein Engineering Research Group

Lines of research

  • Characterising the molecular determinants of apoptin's cytotoxicity and improving its targeted delivery to tumour cells
  • Characterising the anti-tumour properties of ribonucleases targeted in cell nuclei and improving their internalisation efficiency
  • Studying the anti-tumour properties of coordination compounds based on Fe(II), Cu (II) and Ru(II) and characterising the cytotoxic mechanisms of leading compounds.
  • Studying the structure of TDP-43 through NMRs and the selective isotopic marking of the various domains using orthogonal inteins.
