Find out about bachelor's degrees, postgraduate courses and all the educational courses offered by the UdG.
Teaching is concentrated in the faculties and schools, and the departments deal with research, which is also conducted by institutes and chairs, at the same time responsible for knowledge promotion.
The course representative informs all the students in each group about matters affecting them and sends any questions, suggestions and feedback from the group to the corresponding person or body. They are elected at the beginning of each year.
The Study Council is a registered body that examines and discusses everything that affects degree teaching and programming. Students have representatives on each study council.
The Faculty Board is the governing body of the Faculty of Tourism. The Faculty Board approves general Tourism initiatives, plans the use of financial resources and establishes administration guidelines. Students have 27% representation. Representatives of the student sector are renewed every two years.

The Governing Committee proposes the approval or change of course curricula and teaching plans within the Faculty. Among other functions, it arranges, on the suggestion of the academic councils, the distribution of timetables, classrooms and examinations. There are three students elected by and from among the Committee members on the Governing Committee.

The University Senate is the university community’s highest governing body. It approves the general performance initiatives and the budget, it supervises the management of positions and governing bodies and discusses matters affecting the university community. 23% of members are students of the University of Girona chosen through biennial elections.
The Student Council is the highest representative and decision-making student body at the University of Girona and is made up of all senate students. It advises and defends the interests of all students, coordinates their representatives, provides information on general university guidelines and administers its resources. The University of Girona's Governing Council is the university’s ordinary governing body. It assists the rector in their functions and, among other tasks, approves University of Girona programming, academic regulations and curricula. There are five student representatives on the standing committee of the Student Council.
