Universities with an agreement:

University of Debrecen

Université de Liège

Masaryk University

Università di Pisa

UniCamillus - International Medical University in Rome

University of Galway (Erasmus+ Traineeship)

The student can suggest faculties of interest, taking the following factors into account:

  1. PBL is one of the methodologies implemented in the placement faculty, and it is the one used in the modules the student attempts to complete during their Erasmus placement.
  2. The modules you attempt to complete must be compatible with those of Medicine at the UdG in order for credits to be recognised.
  3. If you intend to complete a Bachelor's Degree Thesis with the Erasmus programme, the only requirement is to use the English language.

Once you have chosen possible placement faculties and the modules that interest you, you will need to inform the Erasmus programme’s academic coordinator, Dr Elisabeth Pinart, to explore the feasibility of your choices. If your choices are feasible, the coordinator will inform the placement faculty in order to start the negotiation process. We cannot guarantee the success of negotiations.

On the other hand, we should bear in mind that the UdG’s International Office (OI) requires the agreements to be signed an academic year in advance, that it, if it is for the academic year 2020-2021, the agreement needs to be signed before November 2019.

The call will be announced on the OI’s webpage.

The OI organises a few sessions on campuses to provide information on mobility.

At all times during your communication with the placement faculty, before you arrive, on arrival and during your placement, you act as representative of the Faculty of Medicine at the UdG. Renewal of agreements depends on the placement faculty being satisfied with you. We always demand responsible behaviour and suitable language during your Erasmus Programme placement.

Erasmus for traineeships programme

Student mobility for placements Erasmus+ for Traineeship is a modality of the European Union's Erasmus+ programme. It aims to help students to adapt to the demands of the European job market, acquire specific aptitudes and improve their understanding of the economic and social environment of the placement country, at the same time as they acquire work experience.

This programme aims for university students to complete placements with academic recognition in companies or organisations from other European countries. New for the year 2014-2015, recent graduates are also able to complete voluntary placements during the year after having obtained their degree.

For further information, see the OI webpage.
