Introduction to the evolution of the human societies from an interdisciplinary point of view. He proposes itself to introduce the students in the contents and concepts that are essential to analyse a human society in any moment of the time and the territorial implications that such evolution means. This subject introduces students to the complex concept of Cultural Heritage. Within a broad definition of culture, Heritage establishes the relationship with memory and identity in the territory in which it is found In this way the relationship with Natural Heritage is established. The city and the historical-artistic Heritage is the second major subject covered. Artistic Historical Heritage legislation constitutes the framework which governs Heritage related activities and their organisation. Cultural policies around Heritage will establish the objectives and strategies for intervention in Cultural Heritage.

This course it wants to be an introduction to the ethics as a philosophical discipline, that is, as a reflection on the morality. However, it also wants to be an introduction to the ethics centred on the perspective and the moral problems of public character, problems that more or less affect us in all as citizens. So, in first place we will see in which sense we can say that we, the humans, are moral beings. In second place, we will explain the general features of the main ethical theories. Next we will consider the concepts central of the ethics that we could call “civic”. And finally with all the theoretical knowledge acquired in these two last sections, we will try to approach the approach that we have to make of every a series of concrete problems that claim a determinate ethical sensitivity. In this point, we will see that the usual theoretical knowledge not always obeys well to the approaches and to the sensitivity that we have in these problematic cases.
