University master’s degrees The UdG offers an extensive master’s-degree programme. Master's degree courses offer advanced, specialised or multidisciplinary training, aimed at providing students with an academic or professional specialism or an introduction to research. These are official courses that enable students to move on to study for a doctoral degree. Doctorate degree programmes The doctoral studies are aimed at providing students with advanced training in research techniques and include the preparation and presentation of a doctoral thesis, consisting of original research work. To join a doctoral programme you need to have a minimum of between 60 and 120 ECTS credits at official university master's degree level or equivalent. Thanks to the degree's dual model, from the third year onwards and throughout the fourth year students will do their work placements with a contract in the different collaborator companies.
The Bachelor's Thesis (TFG) for the Business Logistics Degree is compulsory and has an allocation of 12 ECTS. TFGs in the Business Logistics Degree involve students carrying out a project, report or study of task where knowledge, capacities, competences and acquired and worked skills are applied, integrated and developed during their university degree. As this is a dual bachelor's degree thesis, the pupils must produce and defend a logistical project carried out during the dual placements. TFGs are aimed at assessing degree-associated skills and finish with a public defence and an assessment of and mark for the work. A student's dedication is determined by the 12 ECTs assigned to this course and by the equivalent 25 hours of the student's dedication per credit. The thesis of the Dual Bachelor's Degree in Company Logistics will be supervised by a teacher from the bachelor's degree and will be co-supervised by the company’s logistical project director.
Students can complete part of their degree programme abroad through the Erasmus programme, which enables them to carry on their studies whilst undertaking an international exchange with academic value in a European university. They also have access to grants for placements at universities in Spain and on other continents, thanks to bilateral agreements, the SICUE programme and the expansion of the Erasmus+ Programme.
