Students on this double degree will acquire the skills for preparing for each of the reference bachelor’s degrees and strong points such as knowledge of the tourist sector and the tools for analysing and channelling their impact on the territory.

Upper secondary school education

Access: university entrance examinations (PAU), general stage. Admission: weight given to upper secondary school subject areas tested in the PAU and relating to the branches of Social and Legal Sciences and Arts and Humanities.

Higher level training cycles (CFGS).

Once students have completed the Dual Bachelor's Degree in Tourism / Geography Degree, Territory and Environment, they will have access to official university master’s degrees which, should students be interested, will give them access to a doctoral degree.

Master in Tourism Management and Planning (60 ECTS)

Designed for training specialists with advanced knowledge in tourism, for taking on technical and management positions in enterprises specialising in tourist destinations or products, covering both professional development and research.

Master in Cultural Tourism (60 ECTS)

Designed to form specialists in conceptualization and management the cultural tourism; this is the only official master in cultural tourism in Spain.

European Master in Tourism Management (120 ECTS)

It is coordinated by the UdG and developed jointly by the University of Southern Denmark and the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia).

The academic calendar marks the beginning and end of classes, non-teaching days, holidays, exam periods, and so on. The administrative calendar marks the periods to make the different formalities administrative.

Students have to gain a series of credits, as part of their studies, which correspond to internships in companies or institutions relating to the bachelor’s degree they are studying. The teaching load is determined in accordance with the curriculum.

To obtain the degree, students have to complete a bachelor's thesis (TFG) which serves to assess the general skills they have acquired over the course of the degree programme and offers a summary of the skills and knowledge they have acquired. The teaching load of the thesis depends on the curriculum of the degree.

Students can complete part of their degree programme abroad through the Erasmus programme, which enables them to carry on their studies whilst undertaking an international exchange with academic value in a European university.

They also have access to grants for placements at universities in Spain and on other continents, thanks to bilateral agreements, the SICUE programme and the expansion of the Erasmus+ Programme.

Online enrolment is the University of Girona's electronic enrolment system. It is done through the Internet and is available for the most of the studies.
