Erasmus+ for Studies

Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral Degree Students

ERASMUS+ for Studies is a programme for Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral Degree students that allows them to do part of their studies in higher education institutions in other EU and associated countries with which the Polytechnic School has a bilateral exchange agreement. The duration of the stays is at least 3 months and the maximum is one academic year. During this period the student is enrolled in the UdG and at the end of the stay the credits completed are transferred through a study agreement.

Students with an ERASMUS+ for Studies mobility place can apply for a European Commission grant for students on the ERASMUS programme and/or apply for complementary financial grants such as MOBINT (category A) and the Santander Erasmus Grant.

Erasmus places available

Applying for a ERASMUS place

You can apply for 6 places in order of preference provided that application requirements are met.

Students must have spoken to the teaching staff in charge of the agreement and have obtained their approval for the chosen option.

Under the international mobility agreement, students must prove they have an official qualification with a minimum of level B2.1 in a third language (English, French, Italian or German) to apply. To do so, they must take the original qualification document to the academic secretary who will add it to their academic record (except for places where teaching is imparted in Spanish).

Students who do not have this accreditation can take part in the multilevel tests organized by the UdG Modern Language Service. The registration period is 10 December to 11 January 2019 via the following link:

https://www.udg.edu/ca/slm/Examens-oficials

It should be noted that certain exchange places may require a language or minimum level that is different to the language and/or level accredited as a third language. Besides the third language, students must also comply with the language and minimum level associated with each exchange place.

ERASMUS+ GRANT

If you have been assigned an Erasmus place, you are automatically entered for the ERASMUS+ grant.

This grant is compatible with the MOBINT scholarship managed by AGAUR and with the Santander Erasmus Grant 2019-2020.

The amount of the grant depends on which group the destination country comes under. For 2018-2019 the amounts were:

GROUP I: €300/month

GROUP II: €250/month

GROUP III: €200/month

In addition, students who received the general MECS grant in 2017-2018 will receive a complementary grant of €200/month (2018-2019).

The total number of months for which the grant is available will be indicated by the ORE.

Once the student has presented the “receipt of incorporation” to the ORE, the first grant payment will be processed, corresponding to a theoretical 70%, and the remaining 30% once their stay has ended.

For more information, please see the ORE website

MOBINT GRANT

The AGAUR convenes the MOBINT grants every year for students participating in an international mobility stay. For 2018-2019 this grant was €200/month for a maximum of 6 months.

The call, the application form and the other documentation can be found on the AGAUR website: www.gencat.net/agaur (section: Scholarships and grants for university students).
