On the one hand, integral training to future teachers of Spanish and/or Catalan as second languages, both from a didactic and grammatical point of view, completing the existing training available to respond to social demand, in the context of the new needs brought about by intercultural situations. On the other hand, the necessary basis for conducting research activities in general and compared linguistics, linguistic contact and language teaching and acquisition, is guaranteed with particular attention to situations of multilingualism linked to migration.

The master's degree offers the possibility of completing a placement period in foreign universities and being a candidate for an Erasmus Placement grant.
