About the UdG

Narcís Monturiol

The Narcís Monturiol awards are distinctions created by the Government of Catalonia 1982 for the recognition of those persons and entities that have contributed significantly towards the progress of science and technology of Catalonia. They are awarded as medals and plaques to physical and legal persons, respectively. The concession of the awards is made by decree at the proposal of the president or a counsellor and by agreement of the executive board.
